All-American Dream
Aaron Barteau came to UMHB as an average baseball player with a dream to pitch on the team. He left as a Division 3 Baseball All-American. He also came to UMHB with no idea what he wanted to do with life after college, but left four years later with a clear vision of helping athletes reach the “next level,” just as his coaches at UMHB helped him. “The coaches took a chance on me and through them and the exercise physiology department, I developed as a student and an athlete,” said Aaron, who now works at a baseball training facility in Troy. “I feel like the exercise physiology program at UMHB is a step above others. Now that I’m in the profession, I don’t feel like there are many places out there that could teach it the way UMHB does.”
