Accreditation
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is accredited by the Council on Strength and Conditioning Education for its Strength and Conditioning Education Program effective August 2022.
The curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in fields that lead to becoming exercise physiologists, coaches, teachers, sport business managers, strength and conditioning specialists, or public health professionals. EXSS majors also obtain the educational foundation necessary to pursue advanced graduate degrees in the Mayborn College of Health Sciences in related fields toward career preparation for a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a physician assistant, a medical professional, an athletic director, or an exercise physiologist in the field of cardiac rehabilitation to name only a few professional options. Opportunities are wide open with a degree from the School of Exercise & Sport Science!
The experience I had was one based on community. I did not realize how important it was to have friends who push you to follow Jesus better on a daily basis. This is something I still carry with me today.
