College of Christian Studies
Welcome to the College of Christian Studies! The purpose of the College of Christian Studies is to empower its students to become effective servants of God. We provide biblical courses for the entire university and offer a variety of specialized academic programs and concentrations in both Christian Studies and Christian Ministry.
Our faculty consists of committed and widely experienced Christians who are accomplished in their fields and seek to broaden students' vision and focus their commitment through intellectual and spiritual growth.
Many graduates from the College of Christian Studies earn a Christian degree and have become pastors, worship leaders, youth ministers, cross-cultural missionaries, Bible teachers, and chaplains, and many go on to attend seminary or pursue graduate-level studies. There is an entire world of opportunity waiting for your unique impact built on the solid foundation provided by the College of Christian Studies!
My time in the Christian Ministry Program at UMHB was invaluable to my ministry today. Scripture became real to me in my classes. Stories I had learned from my childhood now have had context, purpose, and physical places attached to them. My love and knowledge of Scripture grew and flourished while in the Christian Studies community.
