Exit Requirements

To exit the ESOL Program, students take the Accuplacer or other accepted tests upon completing each UMHB ESOL course and exit when reaching the UMHB international admissions standards. Students of programs with non-specified score standards exit with the following scores:

1) Writing: ESL Writeplacer: 6/6 or 5+ an A in ESOL writing course

2) Reading: ESL Reading: 95 (75%) or 90+ A in ESOL reading course

3) Listening: ESL Listening: 95 (75%) or 90+ A in ESOL listening/speaking course

4) Speaking: Exit Interview: 5/5 or 4/5+ A in ESOL listening/speaking course
