Tracks of Study

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Education is proud to offer a Master of Education degree emphasizing P-12 educational leadership. Our M.Ed. program, delivered in a 3 semester/30-hour nontraditional format, prepares graduates for Texas Principal as Instructional Leader certification. Cohort members from a variety of locations and backgrounds collaborate in a Christian learning environment. Graduates will be thoroughly prepared to engage in leadership, collaboration, decision-making, research, and reform initiatives impacting our educational institutions. The learning experience is extended beyond the classroom to provide networking opportunities with educational leaders from across Texas.

The M.Ed. in Educational Administration program represents strategic and intentional effort by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to shape the hearts and minds of the professionals leading our educational institutions. UMHB’s Master of Education program is approved and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Education is proud to offer a Master of Education degree emphasizing Curriculum and Instruction. The 30-hour nontraditional program provides a pathway for students to gain a Master of Education degree and Texas teaching certification in approximately one year. It is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree and wish to gain a master’s degree and teaching certificate at one time. Graduates will be thoroughly prepared to engage in instructional strategies, curriculum design, disciplinary literacy, assessment and evaluation, classroom management, and collaboration. The learning experience is extended beyond the classroom to provide networking opportunities with educational leaders from across Texas.

The program for Curriculum and Instruction with Teaching Certification represents a strategic and intentional effort by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to shape the hearts and minds of future professional educators. It seeks motivated individuals with high-levels of integrity that wish to collaborate in a Christian learning environment in preparation for service to our nation’s future. UMHB’s Master of Education program is approved and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
