The presence of Lord is in this place, and you can sense it as you walk the campus. The distinctly Christian identity makes it special.

I pray that God's love would set your heart on fire while you study at UMHB. May you learn to hunger for His Word and respond in obedience to His Spirit's call on your life. The Spiritual Life Department aims to help set conditions for those things to happen by providing opportunities for spiritual leadership, Gospel-motivated service, and faith-informed discernment in a global society.

All our chapel programing, ministry initiatives, events, and global partnerships are intentionally designed to complement our amazing local churches. I implore you to connect with one of them. You will benefit greatly from sound biblical teaching, intergenerational worship, discipleship and accountability relationships, and chances to use your spiritual gifts. The effort invested to plug in with a local body of believers will be time well spent.
