Get Involved with the BSM

There are plenty of ways to get involved with the BSM. Read below to see what we do each semester and how you can participate in all the fun!

The Gathering

The Gathering is the BSM's weekly time of worship, fellowship, discipleship groups, and fun! We spend time each semester going through series' designed to help us grow in our faith, with the occasional karaoke night thrown in. The Gathering is each Tuesday at 7:30pm in Hughes Recital Hall, and is open to all UMHB students. Come join us and see why Tuesday's are our favorite night of the week!

Discipleship Groups

At the BSM we value being involved in a group of other believers for genuine community to build up your faith. Our discipleship groups (aka D-Groups) are designed to be just that! D-Group time is built into most Gatherings and groups are encouraged to hang out outside of the BSM. To join a D-Group come to The Gathering or reach out to someone on the BSM Lead Team.

BSM Monthly Lunches

Each month the BSM hosts a free lunch for students in Parker Academic Center. This lunch is open to all students and is sponsored by a local church in the Belton/Temple area. We hope to provide a hot meal to hungry students and highlight what's going on in the local church.
