ASTRA
Ability Service Training Responsibility Achievement
ASTRA is an international community service club that provides opportunities to use your time & talents to enrich the lives of others by working through local civic groups or member generated projects. It is sponsored by the Altrusa Club of Temple so this is also an opportunity to interact with local professional leaders that will provide guidance and support. This club gives you the support of like-minded people to pursue your passions. This club can provide you with opportunities for community service, leadership, training in civic duties, and a spirit of camaraderie. You and your friends are personally invited to come and see what we are all about.
Membership is open to all UMHB students.
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
