Sadermail FAQs

Sadermail is UMHB's email service. Sadermail is powered by Microsoft. Your Sadermail account is the official means of communication between you and the university. Plan on checking it often. If you want to forward your Sadermail to another email account, you are free to do so, but please remember that all electronic communications from UMHB will be sent to your Sadermail account.

Sadermail is UMHB's email service powered by Microsoft. To access your new @cru email account, you can login with your email address and UMHB password at any of the links below:

Your Sadermail account is a separate account that allows you to send and receive email using your @cru.umhb.edu email address. Your Sadermail account provides all of the benefits of Microsoft Outlook accounts.

In addition to your new and improved Sadermail email account, students also have access to a wide variety of additional Microsoft applications. These applications include Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive and a host of other applications and gadgets.

Your Microsoft at UMHB account is also subject to Microsoft's terms of service and privacy policies.

If you have forgotten your password or would like to change it, go to https://umhb.onelogin.com/password.

You can forward your legacy mail.umhb.edu account to your new cru.umhb.edu account. When you set up the forwarding, you have the option of:

• Keeping a copy of your Sadermail emails in your sadermail inbox
• Marking them as read
• Archiving the Sadermail emails
• Deleting the Sadermail emails

Basic forwarding instructions are listed below.

1. Login to your mail.umhb.edu account at umhb.edu/sadermail
2. Click the settings (gear) icon and select "See All Settings"
3. Click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab
4. In the Forwarding section, click "Add a Forwarding Address"
5. Enter your new cru.umhb.edu email address in the popup. It will send a confirmation email to the new address. Follow the instructions on the confirmation email to complete the process.
6. Then, go back to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab and check the radio button next to your new email.
7. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to finish.
