Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Booth joined the nursing faculty at UMHB in 2006. Prior to coming to UMHB, her nursing experience included work as a Nurse Educator & Program Manager for the Pediatric Education & Community Outreach Program at Scott & White, as well as a Staff Nurse and Unit-Based Educator in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Dr. Booth enjoys helping nursing students learn about population & global health perspectives through study abroad. She has led study abroad experiences to Peru, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, & Ireland.
She is engaged in community service through Altrusa and the Body of Christ Community Clinic. In addition, she and her husband serve in the marriage preparation ministry at St. Luke Catholic Church.
Dr. Booth enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family at the beach.
