Dr. Randy Hendricks joined the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor faculty in the fall of 2013 as an Assistant Professor in the College of Education. Dr. Hendricks served 27 years in Texas public schools as a middle school science teacher (Troy ISD), middle school assistant principal (Lorena ISD), high school assistant principal, middle school principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent of schools (Academy ISD). He was also a school finance specialist with the Education Service Center Region 12 in Waco, Texas from 2008-2011. Prior to joining the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor faculty, Dr. Hendricks was an Assistant Professor of Education at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina.
Dr. Hendricks holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and obtained both his master’s degree in educational administration and doctorate in educational leadership from Tarleton State University. His research interests include school leadership, school accountability, and school finance. He and his wife, Deborah, are members of the Little River United Methodist Church in Little River, Texas.
