Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Mandy Parra joined the UMHB Exercise and Sports Science faculty in the fall of 2021. Dr. Parra earned her Bachelors of Science Degree from Hardin-Simmons University, then went on to earn her Master's degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning from Baylor University. Dr. Parra finished her academic career at the University of Kansas where she earned her PhD. in Exercise Physiology. Dr. Parra is long standing member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Dr. Parra enjoys outdoor recreation activities, mountain biking, trail running and weightlifting! She resides in Belton with her husband Aaron, two sons, and two dogs.
