Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Mrs. Dycus joined the Scott and White School of Nursing at UMHB in 2017 as an adjunct clinical faculty. She joined as full-time faculty in Fall 2019. Her professional experience includes fifteen years in oncology and seven years in maternal-child nursing.
Mrs. Dycus graduated with her BSN in 2000 from East Texas Baptist Univeristy (ETBU) and her MSN in nursing education from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) in May 2019. Mandy's greatest loves on Earth are her family....her partner in crime for the last 19 years, Garrett (a 2007 UMHB alumni), her sweet spunky teenager, Hannah (age 15), and her crazy fun-loving boy, Ian (age 9). Mrs. Dycus and her family love spending time together, traveling, attending and playing sports (especially football and soccer), playing games, spending time with friends, spending time on the lake, and serving at their church (Temple Bible Church). Mrs. Dycus feels that the greatest part of her job are the students. She loves to watch them grow in their knowledge of all things nursing, grow in their compassion for those around them, and grow most importantly in their love for THE LORD!
