Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Laura Oliver attended Hawaii Pacific University, where she studies business administration with a concentration in human resource management. She graduated in August 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Human Resource Management. In 2009, she enrolled as a graduate student at Webster University, where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management in May 2011. She enrolled in her Ph.D. program in September 2012 and graduated in November 2016 from Walden University, where she earned her Doctoral of Philosophy in Management, with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She also holds an SHRM-CP national certification from the Society of Human Resource Management.
Dr. Oliver has over 27 years of experience in business, including over 10 years of customer service/sales experience, over 20 years of human resource experience, and over 10 years of collegiate teaching. She has a wide range of experience from international sales to affirmative action plans. She specializes in all human resource functions, especially those pertaining to DE&I, employee welfare, career development, and performance pay programs. In addition, she has successfully opened and operates a small business under a LLC.
Dr. Oliver currently lives in Texas, with her husband, Paul Oliver, and their two children, Patricia and Anthony.
