Favorite Thing about UMHB
Our campus community and spirit are my favorite things about the University.
About me
I am from Academy, Texas. I grew up in the Central Texas area and I continue to reside here today. I enjoy traveling, football, lifting, running, personal development, counseling, church, and yardwork. I graduated from UMHB in 2014, and I am currently the Assistant Director of Recruiting over transfer students. I am excited to have the opportunity to help young men and women through the admissions process, and to share the UMHB experience with them.
Fun Fact
I enjoy obstacle course racing and Spartan races!
UMHB Journey
My journey to UMHB started two years after I graduated high school. Due to my circumstances at that time, I was not sure how I would be able to move away for college. Fortunately, God had a plan and led me to UMHB, where I could stay local. I transferred in as a sophomore to study Sport Management and never looked back. I worked two jobs through college and I would not change any of my experiences for the world because they shaped who I am today. I have been through the college process and I am excited to be able to help students start their journey at UMHB.
