Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
Dr. Emily Prevost currently serves as Associate Provost for Academic Engagement. In this role she works with academic support units including the Library, Student Success, First-Year Seminar, and the Registrar's Office and assists in the management of Academic Affairs. She is passionate about helping students to discover their calling and to prepare to make a difference in the world.
Dr. Prevost earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Bible and her Master of Arts in Religion from Hardin-Simmons University. Dr. Prevost completed her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Dallas Baptist University. She has served in Texas Baptist universities for the past 13 years as a faculty member and academic administrator. Prior to serving in higher education, Dr. Prevost served in Texas Baptist denominational life, including work at the Baptist General Convention of Texas where she created leadership development programs for students and young adults and assisted churches in crisis.
