Curriculum Vitae (Résumé)
I have felt the calling on my life to be a nurse for as long as I can remember. I am beyond blessed with a gratifying and abundant career as a nurse. My background is in adult health/critical care nursing. I have multiple years of experience in critical care and emergency room as a bedside nurse and nurse practitioner. I received my BSN (2009) and MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner (2014) from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB).
I live in Belton with my husband and three children who are growing way too fast. I have been an adjunct professor from 2012 to 2017 at UMHB and now work as full-time faculty. In addition to my role here at UMHB, I work at PremiER as an FNP to uphold my skills and required practice hours. I have enjoyed and treasured every minute of my nursing career and thank God for leading me to this profession. I love working with students and watching them grow into knowledgeable and caring healthcare professionals. My prayer is to be able to provide direction and love as I impart and share my knowledge and proficiency with my students.
I am a certified critical care nurse and participate as an AACN member. I am certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP) Certification Board.
