Alexia Bowe

Alexia Bowe was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Alexia moved to Texas with her parents and graduated high school from Mexia High in Mexia, Texas. From there Alexia received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Education and Science (Math) from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. While at UMHB in undergrad, Alexia lived in Burt Hall where she served as an RA for three years. That experience allowed Alexia to find her calling in serving young adults through their college years. After graduating, Alexia worked as a Resident Director at two other institutions for four years before having an opportunity to return to UMHB in August of 2020 to serve as a Resident Director in Garner Hall. In the summer of 2021 an opportunity came available to return to a traditional Residence Hall and Alexia moved over to Lord Hall where she has the opportunity to serve 214 college freshmen as they begin their journeys. In December of 2023 Alexia graduated from Purdue University Global with a Master's in Higher Education in Student Affairs.
