Begin planning your event as soon as possible. University facilities are primarily used to further the academic and co-curricular needs of the student body; therefore, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor reserves the right to change, alter, modify, or cancel any event request.

Yes, all classes, meetings, and events in a shared area (inside and outside) require a reservation on campus.

The facility rental charge varies based on location. Consult with the event supervisor to see if they apply to your event.

Any food service, catering, or concessions on campus must be coordinated through UMHB’s contracted food service provider, Sodexo. https://umhb.catertrax.com/

Alcohol is strictly prohibited on all University property. Tobacco usage to include, smoking, e-cigarettes and dip, is prohibited inside any UMHB-owned vehicle or building or within 50 feet of any building on campus. Users are required to use receptacles when disposing of cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Event organizers will provide information regarding event parking. Please do not park in spaces marked with white lines on the pavement, on adjacent City of Belton Streets, or in areas reserved by signs.

Current UMHB students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their immediate families (dependents) can get married in Manning Chapel in the Meyers Christian Studies Center. During term sessions, weddings are scheduled on Saturdays with rehearsals on Friday evenings. During breaks, weddings can be scheduled on any day, subject to facility and staff availability. The wedding fee is $1,600 covering facility use, the required UMHB Wedding Coordinator, housekeeping, and A/V.
