BELTON, Texas—The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s College of Humanities and Sciences invites children to participate in hands-on learning activities during Science Saturday on November 5.
WHAT: Hands-on STEM activities for children in grades Pre-K to 5th grade.
WHEN: Saturday, November 5, 9 a.m. - Noon
WHERE: York/Wells Science Center (Corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. and Moore Ave. on the UMHB Campus.)
“We are very excited to be sharing this wonderful event with the community again for the first time since 2019,” Biology Professor Dr. Cathleen Early said. “I always look forward to the raw enthusiasm and boundless curiosity elementary children bring to Science Saturday.”
UMHB students will lead participants in fun, educational activities related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The event is free and open to the public. Participating families are asked to bring one non-perishable food item, which will be donated to Helping Hands Ministry in Belton.
