Belton, Texas -- Miss Search Cru, Elizabeth Franklin, was named Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor 2021 on Saturday, October 31, in the annual Miss MHB Pageant held in W.W. Walton Chapel. Franklin is a junior Psychology major from Georgetown, Texas. Her personal platform was “Destigmatizing Mental Illness.”
The reigning Miss MHB, Molly Rodeffer, crowned Franklin at the end of the evening’s contest. Also recognized were fourth runner up Alissa Edgington, Miss Cru for Life; third runner up Jade Ming, Miss University Ambassadors; second runner up Jamie Boykin, Miss Baptist Student Ministry; and first runner up Carrington Kelly, Miss Campus Activities Board.
Others singled out for special awards were Miss Association of Black Students, Angel Tolbert (Best Talent); Miss Impact Dance, Jahdeya Reid (Best Evening Gown Stroll); Miss Independence Village, Kiley Watson (Best Interview); and Miss Beall Hall, Kiersten Reaves (Miss Congeniality).
