Belton, Texas – On Saturday, February 23, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host its 27th annual Crusader Knights competition in the W.W. Walton Chapel at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s Crusader Knights theme is “Olympics.” The event is open to the public, but tickets are required for entry. Tickets for the public cost $7. Tickets for UMHB students and alumni cost $5.
The winner of this competition will represent the university for the 2019-2020 school year. Men from various campus organizations, housing, and classes will showcase their skills in hopes of being crowned and dubbed Mr. Crusader Knight by President Randy O’Rear. The program will include music, dancing, videos, and plenty of entertainment for the audience.
This year’s Crusader Knights director is Danny Martinez, and his assistant directors are Peter Zuniga and Lauren Turner.
Martinez is a senior Marketing major with a minor in Management. He is the Senior Class President and has been involved on campus as a color leader during Welcome Week, a member of the Homecoming Court, and part of the Homecoming Media Team.
