Fall Commencement 2019

December 13, 2019

Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor fall Commencement was held on Friday, December 13, Crusader Stadium. This was the university’s 163^rd graduating class. 520 students were awarded degrees. Of those, 385 students received baccalaureate degrees, 100 received master’s degrees, and 35 earned doctoral degrees.

Student awards given during the ceremony included the Provost Medal for highest overall GPA, which was split between 10 students who each graduated with perfect 4.0 grade point averages: Jacob Alexander Chesser of Boerne, Ryley Bryanne Cox of Waco, Sierra Renee Elrod of Angleton, Jacob Earl Fitzwater of Belton, Abigail Joy Perez Garcia of Georgetown, Damien Michael Hawkins of Copperas Cove, Noelle Joyce Maire of Plano, Schyler Reagan Malloy of League City, Hannah Michelle Rodgers of Granbury, and Hannah Rose Wolfe of Robinson.

The Loyalty Cup for the student who is most representative of the ideals, traditions and spirit of the university was given to Deja Talford. The President’s Award for meritorious service went to Jacob Alexander Chesser.
