Belton, Texas – The College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is pleased to announce the return of the holiday tradition, A Very Mary Hardin-Baylor Christmas, which has been expanded to include two evenings of festivities on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6 in the Sue & Frank Mayborn Performing Arts Center. These events are free and open to the public.
Every year the A Very Mary Hardin-Baylor Christmas event celebrates the birth of Christ through music. This year’s program focuses on the first week of Advent, Hope.
As part of the celebration, the Department of Art will extend its annual Christmas Art Sale to Fikes Chamber Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m. each evening. Sales will run during intermission and after the concert. Chamber ensembles will serenade guests while they shop, and refreshments will be available.
