Belton, Texas – Stanley Praimnath, a September 11th survivor, will be the guest speaker at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Wednesday, September 12, at 10 and 11 a.m. in the W. W. Walton Chapel. These events are free and open to the public.
Praimnath worked on the 81st floor of Twin Tower II, and he vividly remembers the morning in 2001 that changed his life forever.
"As I'm standing there retrieving my messages, I'm looking out at the next building, One World Trade, and I saw fire falling through from the roof," Praimnath said.
Praimnath is bold follower of Christ, and when his building began to burn, his first thoughts were of his co-workers. The story of how he made his way down 81 stories amid chaos and tragedy is as moving as it is heroic. He will share it during each of Wednesday's chapel services.
