Belton, Texas – On Saturday, November 3, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host Military Appreciation Day in Crusader Stadium. Military Appreciation Day is an annual tradition that draws hundreds of soldiers and their families from across Central Texas. Activities throughout the game will pay tribute to members of the armed services.
“We’re proud to host a group of brave men and women who serve our country so nobly,” Randy Mann, Vice President for Athletics, said.
Soldiers and their families will enter through Gate 3 on the southeastern corner of the stadium. With military identification, they will each receive free admission to the game and vouchers for free hotdogs and drinks.
Saturday’s contest marks the CRU’s ninth game and the final home game of the regular season. The team will be facing off with the Wildcats of Louisiana College. Kickoff for Saturday’s game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Crusader Stadium will open at 11:30 a.m.
