Belton, Texas – From angelic harmonies to diving touchdown catches, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is hosting summer camps for children of every age and interest. All of the offerings can be found on the camps page on the UMHB website.
The athletics department has a wide variety of offerings. The Crusader Football, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, and Soccer programs are each hosting camps. Some target young and emerging athletes, while others are designed to give high school athletes a competitive edge. All of the university’s athletic camps are led by UMHB coaches, and many give campers the opportunity to practice or play in the same facilities used by Crusader student-athletes.
The UMHB Department of Music will be hosting great music camps for artists of all ages. The All-State Choir Camp is open to high school choir students who would like to prepare for the TMEA All-State Choir auditions. Participants will receive private lessons, work through this year’s selections, and perform in a concert. The department is also once again partnering with the Steven Moss Leadership Academy to offer drum majors lessons in conducting, teaching, and leadership skills.
All of these programs will help campers make memories that they will treasure for years to come. They will have opportunities to explore their talents, sharpen their skills, and experience the beautiful UMHB campus first hand.
