Belton, Texas – On Monday, August 20, the gallery of the Baugh Center for the Visual Arts will feature an exhibit of works by faculty members in the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor College of Visual and Performing Arts. The exhibit, which will be on display until September 14, is free and open to the public.
Works in this year’s Art Faculty Exhibition represent a wide assortment of mediums, including graphic design, painting and drawing, ceramics, sculpture, and printmaking. The exhibit is evidence that, while faculty are dedicated to helping UMHB students to realize their goals of becoming professionals in their chosen fields, they also diligently pursue excellence in their own creative work outside of the classroom.
Participating in this year’s exhibition are Ted Barnes, Barbara Fontaine-White, John Hancock, David Hill, Helen Kwiatkowski, Robin McLaurin, Richard Skurla, Hugo Shi, Matthew Smith, Dr. Sarah Andyshak, David Harmon, and Hershall Seals.
