Belton, Texas – On Tuesday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Music Department presents the Trombone Choir in concert in the Fikes Chamber Hall of the Sue & Frank Mayborn Performing Arts Center on the UMHB campus.
The ensemble will perform under the direction of James Whitis, Associate Professor of Music. The show will feature a variety of music including a rousing Dixieland arrangement of “That’s a Plenty.”
This concert qualifies as a Fine Arts Experience (FAE) credit for UMHB students. The Fine Arts Experience program is designed to help students gain an appreciation for the fine arts in many forms during their time on campus. To this end, students are required to attend at least one designated Fine Arts Experience event each semester.
