Belton, Texas – For those fans who will not be able to make the trip to Salem, Virginia to watch the CRU football program compete in the 2017 DIII Football National Championship, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor has partnered with Grand Avenue Theater to host a special watch party on Friday, December 15, in Crusader Stadium on the UMHB campus. This event is free and open to the public.
The stadium will open at 5:00 p.m. to gives fans plenty of time to purchase dinner or refreshments from the Chick-fil-A and Starbucks inside the Bawcom Student Union before the game’s 6:00 p.m. kickoff.
This will mark the CRU’s third appearance in a Division III National Championship Game, having won last year’s contest against University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
