Belton, Texas – On Tuesday, December 12, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor CRU football program will begin its journey back to Salem, Virginia, where the team will compete in its second consecutive Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl. The university will host a special send-off event for the CRU at 1:00 p.m. in front of the Cummins Field House on the UMHB campus. This event is free and open to the public.
The team is expected to board its buses and depart from campus at 1:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring pompoms, posters, and loud voices to express their CRU spirit
The CRU’s game against the University of Mount Union Raiders will kick-off Friday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This will mark the CRU’s third appearance in a Division III National Championship Game, having won last year’s contest against University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
