Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's Scott & White College of Nursing is seeking an initial accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for its Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and its Post-Graduate APRN Certificate program. CCNE is an autonomous accrediting agency which contributes to the improvement of the public’s health by ensuring the quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate programs in nursing. The commission will conduct an on-site visit at UMHB February 21 through February 23, 2018, as a part of the accreditation process.
In accordance with their Procedures for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Nursing Programs, CCNA invites UMHB’s communities of interest (students, alumni, faculty, employers, clinical agencies, and the community at large) to provide written input regarding the nursing program. Signed comments about UMHB’s Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs’ qualifications for accreditation may be submitted to
