Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will hold its 18th annual health fair, Health Quest 2017, on Friday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the McLane Great Hall of the Bawcom Student Union on the UMHB campus. This event is free and open to the public.
Health Quest is a community event showcasing exhibitors from an assortment of health and wellness-related businesses, including Belton Eye Care, Henry Schein Medical Group, Montgomery Chiropractic, and the Temple Walk-in Clinic. There will also be representatives from several regional and area hospitals including Hillcrest Health Systems, Baylor Scott & White Hospital, Seton Health Care, and Metroplex Hospital.
There will be many exhibits presenting information for visitors of all ages. Health screenings will also be available, including blood pressure, glucose tests, cholesterol checks, visual testing, and depression and mood screenings. Visitors will also find opportunities for wellness education, including helpful information about skin care, preventative health care, and eye health. There will also be stations at which visitors can donate blood, get registered as a bone marrow donor, or enjoy a free massage.
Door prizes donated by vendors will be given throughout the fair including a chance to win an Amazon Echo donated by Montgomery Chiropractic.
