Belton, Texas - On Friday, October 14, One Voice, the premiere vocal ensemble of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, will hold its fall concert. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the McLane Great Hall in the Bawcom Student Union on the UMHB campus and is free and open to the public.
The program features pieces from a variety of genres. The show will open with Thomas Tallis’ moving motet, Salvator Mundi, paired with Will Todd’s newly composed My Lord Has Come. Then, the tone will shift with six riveting barbershop tags followed by the mellow 40’s jazz number I Wish You Love.
The concert will also include the premier of conductor Matt Crosby’s composition for his youngest child Chloe, which concludes a five-song set written in the last ten years, one song for each of his children.
