Belton, Texas - On Thursday, January 8, Dr. Steve Theodore, Senior Vice President for Administration at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, was recognized with the Chairman's Award for Excellence by the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce during its Annual Awards Banquet.
The award was presented by Robert Potts of Cochran, Blair & Potts, who is the outgoing chairman of the chamber's board of directors.
"Steve Theodore was able to lead us through a time when there was lots of change at the chamber," Potts said of Theodore. "He was a constant anchor and a great source of knowledge."
Theodore has served on the chamber's board of directors for four years.
