Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Jazz Ensemble will present their final performance of the 2015-2016 season will present their final performance of the 2015-2016 season, the 9th annual Song & Jazz concert, on Tuesday, April 26, in W.W. Walton Chapel on the UMHB campus at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
This 9th annual presentation of Song & Jazz will feature an eclectic collection of songs that will feature the talents of eight vocalists backed by the infectious energy of UMHB's Jazz Ensemble. The program consists of jazz classics, rockabilly, 70's horn band funk, and Adele's "Skyfall" from the James Bond film of the same name.
This concert qualifies as a Fine Arts Experience (FAE) credit for UMHB students. The Fine Arts Experience program endeavors to expose students to a wide variety of artistic expression during their time on campus. To this end, students are required to attend at least one designated Fine Arts Experience event each semester.
