Belton, TX - On Tuesday, November 8, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Trombone Choir, under the direction of James Whitis, and the Chamber Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Stephen Crawford, will present their fall concert. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the McLane Great Hall of the Bawcom Student Union on the UMHB campus. This event is free and open to the public.
The program features pieces from a variety of genres. The show will open with a stunning fanfare, Pronouncement, followed by several beautiful hymn arrangements. The percussion ensemble will treat the audience to music for Mexican marimba and multiple percussion.
A playful rendition of folk songs titled Southland, will be played, followed by America the Beautiful and a rousing arrangement of Washington Post March.
