Slough Scholarship Program

To Apply Students will:

• Apply to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor before November 15^th. Indicate on your UMHB application that you plan to major in the College of Christian Studies.
• Complete the online application for the Slough Scholarship before November 15^th. If you meet the qualifications, you will receive an e-mail with a password after you complete your application to UMHB.
• Submit 2 Letters of Recommendation. One letter must speak to academic ability, and one must speak to Christian commitment. (The letters must be from people the student is not related to.)
• A High School GPA of 3.5 on a 4-point scale (or equivalent) or in the first quartile of the graduating class.
• Qualified finalists must also attend an on-campus interview with faculty during one of the scheduled Sader Days before Spring Break.

Successful Slough Scholarship Recipients will:

• Maintain a 3.0 overall GPA at UMHB.
• Major in a program within the College of Christian Studies.
• Receive a $2,500 scholarship per academic year for up to 4 years if they meet the above requirements.

How to apply

First Apply to UMHB

Indicate that you plan to major in Christian Studies.
Indicate your excellent GPA or class rank.

After you complete the university application, qualified applicants will receive an email invitation from Dean Crawford with the password to the scholarship form.

Apply for the Slough Scholarship

You will receive a password after you complete your admissions application.
