Do you experience a call to missions? Can you see yourself in cross-cultural settings either in the United States or overseas, sharing the gospel with a world in need? Do you love creative ministry? Then our Intercultural Studies concentration is for you.

The Bachelor of Christian Ministry (BCM) with a concentration in Intercultural Studies prepares students for a life of sharing the gospel in cross-cultural and diverse settings. A variety of ministry classes are offered in our College of Christian Studies with specific courses relating to the history and methodology of missions, cross-cultural ministry, discipleship and evangelism. Each one of our Christian Ministry students is required to do a 3-semester-hour supervised ministry practicum. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in a ministry setting. Summer missions' internships are among the potential internship options. Further ministry opportunities are available throughout the year.

The Intercultural Studies concentration requires 15 semester hours of Christian ministry courses from a selection of courses for Intercultural Studies as well as Christian Studies foundation courses, Biblical Studies electives, and Christian Studies electives. Furthermore, our Christian Ministry students must complete one year of study in a biblical language of their choice, Hebrew or Greek.

Do you love listening to people and sharing God's love with people of all walks of life? Then our Pastoral Ministry concentration is for you.

The Bachelor of Christian Ministry (BCM) with a concentration in Pastoral Ministry offers the best preparation for a future in pastoral ministry. A variety of ministry classes are offered in our College of Christian Studies with specific courses relating to ministering in a church setting, providing pastoral ministry, preparing sermons, and the like. Each one of our Christian Ministry students is required to do a 3-semester hour supervised ministry practicum. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in a ministry setting.

The Pastoral Ministry Concentration requires 15 semester hours of Christian ministry courses from a selection of courses for Pastoral Ministry, Christian Studies foundation courses, Biblical Studies electives, and Christian Studies electives. Furthermore, our Christian Ministry students must complete one year of study in a biblical language of their choice, Hebrew or Greek.

Have you experienced a call to youth ministry? Can you see yourself leading young people into a relationship with God and walking with them through life and the issues that today's youth face? Do you love working with youth and young people of various cultures and backgrounds? Then our Age-Related Ministry concentration is for you.

The Bachelor of Christian Ministry (BCM) with a concentration in Age-Related Ministry provides the best preparation for a future in youth or children's ministry. A variety of ministry classes are offered in our College of Christian Studies with specific courses relating to interacting with youth and children and ministering to the specific spiritual needs of young people. Each one of our Christian Ministry students is required to do a 3-semester hour supervised ministry practicum. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in a ministry setting.

The Age-Related Ministry concentration requires 15 semester hours of Christian ministry courses from a selection of courses for ministry to youth and children, Christian Studies foundation courses, Biblical Studies electives, and Christian Studies electives. Furthermore, our Christian Ministry students must complete one year of study in a biblical language of their choice, Hebrew or Greek.

Are you interested in truly understanding the Bible? Do you desire to have the ability to read the Bible in its original languages? The minor in Biblical Languages is 22 semester hours, consisting of a year in each one of the available biblical languages, Hebrew or Greek, and a second year of either one of the languages.

Are you interested in digging deeper into the Bible while pursuing a different major? The Biblical Studies minor is 21 semester hours, consisting of Old Testament and New Testament Survey courses, a biblical backgrounds course, and 12 hours of advanced Old Testament and New Testament courses.

This minor is not available to students majoring in the College of Christian Studies.

Are you interested in digging in deeper into Christian Studies while pursuing a different major? The Christian Studies minor is 18 semester hours, consisting of Old Testament and New Testament Survey courses and 12 hours of electives from at least three of the following areas: Biblical Studies, Church History, Theology, and Christian Ministry. (Music majors may substitute specific music courses for electives in ministry--see catalog.)

This minor is not available to students majoring in the College of Christian Studies.

Are you interested in digging in deeper into philosophy? Do you enjoy taking time to contemplate and investigate key philosophical concepts? The Philosophy minor is 18 semester hours, consisting of an introduction to philosophy course, a critical reasoning course, and 12 hours of philosophy courses.

Do you love learning about the history of the early Christian communities? Do you enjoy investigating the development of the church throughout the centuries and recent times?

The BA in Christian Studies allows you flexibility in course selections. Courses in Church History will provide students with opportunities to explore specific times and places in church history. The College of Christian Studies has a variety of church history course offerings ranging from the Reformation to World Religions to the Holocaust.

The overall Christian Studies curriculum provides courses that will ground you in areas that form and support you in your pursuit of Church History. Additional course electives in the areas of Christian Ministry, Theology, Philosophy, Biblical Studies, and Biblical Archaeology enable further exploration of your interests and preparation for your vocation.

Are you interested in studying Christian theological concepts such as the nature of God and the Doctrine of Revelation? Or perhaps you would like to explore Biblical Ethics or worldviews in today's pluralistic world?

The BA in Christian Studies allows you flexibility in course selections. Studies in Theology and Ethics will prepare you best for a future of teaching and sharing theological concepts that have shaped and continue to shape the church and the world. We offer a variety of theology courses.

The overall Christian Studies curriculum provides courses that will ground you in areas that form and support you in your pursuit of theology. Additional course electives in the areas of Philosophy, Christian Ministry, Biblical Studies, Church History, and Biblical Archaeology enable further exploration of your interests and preparation for your vocation.

Additional course electives in the areas of Theology, Christian Ministry, Biblical Studies, Church History, and Biblical Archaeology enable further exploration of your interests and preparation for your vocation.

Do you love the Word of God? Do you desire to study the Bible in-depth with the proper tools and an understanding of background issues?

The BA in Christian Studies allows you flexibility in course selections. Courses in Biblical Studies will prepare you best for a future of sharing the Bible. We offer a variety of Old and New Testament courses, a hermeneutics course, a biblical backgrounds course, and special topic courses such as Parables of Jesus and The Book of Revelation. Students who have a special interest in serious study of the Bible are encouraged to take a biblical language (Hebrew or Greek) to fulfill their foreign language requirement and to maximize their ability to study the Word of God.

Additional course electives in the areas of Christian Ministry, Theology, Philosophy, Church History, and Biblical Archaeology enable further exploration of your interests and preparation for your vocation.
