“The purpose of Student Foundation is to serve the university by connecting alumni and supporters of the institution with the school’s student body.”
As representatives of the student body, members of Student Foundation will uphold university rules, maintain a dedication to academics, and practice leadership while exhibiting a positive attitude toward the institution.
Student Foundation Leadership
Allie Berg
President
Allie Berg is a senior English major. One of her favorite places to study and spend time with friends on campus is Burt Pond. Allie’s favorite on-campus event is Stunt Night, and she has participated as the director of her class for the past two years. Allie loves to travel and has visited 4 new countries while at UMHB’s study abroad program.
Selah Cordova
Vice President, Growth
Selah Cordova is a junior Christian Studies major. She enjoys studying and hanging out with friends in Bawcom Student Union. Selah’s favorite campus tradition is the Easter Pageant, and her favorite event is revival. Selah also has the opportunity to co-direct the Baptist Student Ministry this year.
Kendall Gooden
Vice President, Service
Kendall Gooden is a senior studying biology on the pre-veterinary track. One of Kendall’s favorite places to spend time and study with friends on campus is the Mabee Student Success Center. Kendall’s favorite campus tradition is Crusader Knights, which he participated in during the Spring 2022 semester.

Victoria Borders
Victoria Borders is a junior Public Relations major. Her favorite campus ministry is First Year Collective because she loves that upperclassmen mentor new students. This year, Victoria has the chance to serve as an FYC leader.
Bryan Camacho
Bryan Camacho is a senior biology major. One of Bryan’s favorite places to spend time on campus is the rec courts. Bryan’s favorite university events are the Easter pageant and revival.
Victoria Carr
Victoria Carr is a junior Nursing major. Her favorite tradition and event is Welcome Week. Victoria jokes that her favorite form of ‘social media’ is just to go to Bawcom Student Union because she can see so many people and catch up with them.
Jake Crain
Jake Crain is a senior Christian Ministry major. One of Jake’s favorite places to spend time on campus is Hughes Hall, where he is on the leadership team for the BSM. Jake’s favorite UMHB tradition is the Easter Pageant.
Cami Davis
Cami Davis is a junior marketing major with a minor in graphic design. As a member of the beach volleyball team, Cami enjoys spending her time at the sand volleyball courts and spending time with her teammates. Her favorite UMHB tradition is Homecoming.
Bethany Fitzwater
Bethany Fitzwater is a senior Nursing major. She is involved with the Baptist Student Ministry, and when she wants to find a fun place to spend time, she goes to the Student Activities office because the staff and student workers create a fun environment to be a part of.
Mia Hanks
Mia Hanks is a senior studio art major. One of her favorite places to sit and reflect on campus is the Jesus statue outside of Walton Chapel. She enjoys being a member of Baptist Student Ministries and participating in the Easter Pageant, and she is the 2024 Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor. Easily, Mia’s favorite on-campus tradition is Homecoming.
Scarlett Higdon
Scarlett Higdon is a junior Art Education major. By far, Scarlett’s favorite UMHB tradition is Easter Pageant. She loves to spend time in the art building as it has so many spaces to be creative in a welcoming environment.
Emily Huynh
Emily Huynh is a senior Management and Marketing major. Her favorite tradition is the Easter pageant, and this year she has the opportunity to portray Mary. Emily also loves to build community while spending time at campus rec.
Paige Jones
Paige Jones is a sophomore Marketing Major. Her favorite place to study with friends is Bawcom Student Union, which happens to be the location for her favorite campus event, Pancake Supper.
Yanelle Licona
Yanelle Licona is a senior marketing and international business major. One of Yanelle’s favorite places to spend time on campus is Millenium Oaks Park around Burt Pond. Her favorite UMHB tradition is Midnight March. Additionally, Yanelle’s favorite campus event is Homecoming weekend.
Liam McCarthy
Liam McCarthy is a senior finance major. Liam’s favorite on-campus ministry is First Year Collective, which he participated in and now leads a group of first-year students. His favorite UMHB tradition is Midnight March. Additionally, Liam’s favorite campus event is Revival.
Noah McCarthy
Noah McCarthy is a junior Transformation Development major.
Luke Neading
Luke Neading is a senior management major at UMHB. Luke enjoys studying, grabbing Chick-fil-A, and attending Men’s 33 Authentic Manhood in Bawcom Student Union. Luke’s favorite UMHB tradition is revival, and his favorite event is play day.
Mike Neary
Mike Neary is a sophomore Accounting major. In his free time, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee with friends on the rec fields. When it comes to traditions, he loves Mr. Crusader Knight and Revival.
John Taylor
John Taylor is a sophomore Physical Education major. He is a fan of Mr. Crusader Knight and says it’s his favorite tradition and event on campus. His favorite place to build community and have fun is the Rec Fields.
Navie Tijerina
Navie Tijerina is a sophomore Christian Ministry major.
Madelyn Tipton
Madelyn Tipton is a junior Christian ministry major. Whether sitting on the quad or studying in Bawcom, Madelyn enjoys spending time in populated areas of campus. She enjoys participating in the Easter Pageant and Stunt Night and loves watching the UMHB community unite.
Emma Trojacek
Emma Trojacek is a senior nursing major. In addition to the nursing building, she enjoys sitting on the swings around campus, watching students, sunsets, and squirrels. Her favorite on-campus event is the Psalms Event because it provides an opportunity to build community on campus.
Ethan Varisco
Ethan Varisco is a junior marketing major. Ethan’s favorite spot to study on campus is the library's second floor. His favorite on-campus ministry is First Year Collective, which he participated in during his freshman year. Additionally, Ethan’s favorite campus tradition is Crusader Knights, which he participated in during the Spring 2023 semester.
