Rose Morales '00

Alumni Board President

Rose graduated from UMHB in 2000 with a degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite tradition is the Easter Pageant and its reminder of what our Savior did for us. Rose works as a first-grade teacher. She is married to Tony, class of 2002, and they have one dog, Buddy.

Travis Bice '10

Travis graduated from UMHB in 2012 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. He currently lives in Tomball.

Lynn Clarke '83

Lynn graduated from UMHB in 1983 with a degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite tradition is Robbing and Midnight March. Lynn is a retired Elementary Educator. She is married to James, and they have two children.

Susan Cody '72

Susan graduated from MHB in 1972 with a degree in Speech, Drama, and English. Her favorite UMHB tradition was Charter Day. Susan is a retired teacher. She has four children.

Jennifer graduated from UMHB in 2011 with a degree in Education. Her favorite UMHB tradition was the Circle of Songs. Jennifer works as a Realtor and Trainer. She is married to Roger, and they have one child.

Rojo graduated from UMHB in 2010 with a degree in Professional Studies. He currently lives in Woodway.

Marjorie graduated from UMHB in 1961 with a degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite UMHB tradition is Charter Celebration. Marjorie lives in Glendale, Arizona.

Eduardo Lara '93

Eduardo Lara graduated from UMHB in 1991 with a degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science. His favorite tradition is Charter Day. Eduardo works as a Director of Clinic Operations. He is married to Elizabeth ‘93, and they have two sons.

Christel Lindberg-Phelps '01

Christel Lindberg-Phelps graduated from UMHB in 2001 with a degree in Mathematics. Her favorite tradition is Play Day. Christel is a former Math Instructor. She is married to Eric, and they have two children, one of whom is a current UMHB student.

Stephen McElrath '06

Stephen graduated from UMHB in 2006 with a degree in Exercise Sport Science. His favorite UMHB traditions were Welcome Week, Stunt Night, Play Day, and UMHB Football. Stephen works in sales. He is married to Amanda, and they have one child.

Morgan Raines '22

Morgan graduated from UMHB in 2022 with a degree in Chemistry. Her favorite UMHB tradition was Stunt Night. Morgan is a Ph.D. student at Baylor University.

Dr. Sheila Ransburg ’98, M.Ed. ’17, Ed.D. ‘21

Sheila graduated from UMHB in 1998 with a degree in Social Work, a Master's in Education in 2017, and a Doctorate in Education in 2021. Her favorite UMHB tradition was the Leadership Luncheons. Sheila works as a Coordinator of Assessment and Data Management. She is married to Leon Shepard.

Lynda graduated from UMHB in 1991 with a degree in Elementary Education. She currently lives in Waxahachie.

Gilda graduated from UMHB in 2021 with a degree in Biology. Her favorite UMHB tradition was the Dubbing Ceremony. Gilda works as a Medical Assistant at Fort Worth Dermatology.

Karolyn Whitis '68

Karolyn graduated from Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1968 with a degree in Chemistry. She has no favorite UMHB tradition because she loved them all. Karolyn is retired. She is married to Dillard, a campus boy, and they have two children.

Alyssa graduated from UMHB in 2015 with a degree in Music. Her favorite UMHB traditions were the Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor Pageant and Easter Pageant. Alyssa works as an Event and Wedding Coordinator. She is married to Jonathan, class of 2014 and 2017.

Anthony Avila graduated from UMHB in 2023 with a degree in Physical Education. His favorite tradition is Pancake Supper. Anthony works as a High School Teacher and Coach. He is engaged to Madeleine ‘24.
