Honors Program Application Information
The purpose of the University Honors Program is to stimulate intellectual curiosity and social awareness, to investigate relevant moral and ethical systems, and to enhance aesthetic awareness. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the University Honors Program also attempts to give students an understanding of the relationships which unite all scholarly disciplines.
Note: Any Honors student who has maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and has completed all of the Honors Program requirements exclusive of the senior honors project will graduate from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor cum laude. Honors students that successfully complete the senior honors project as well as the other program requirements (and have maintained a 3.5 G.P.A. or higher) are eligible to graduate magna or summa cum laude.
