Students
Fine Arts Experience
The FAE program provides opportunities for students to experience different forms of artistic expression by attending fine arts presentations on the UMHB campus and reflecting upon those experiences. Students learn appropriate audience decorum for fine arts events and have opportunities to demonstrate this behavior. The goal of the program is for students to better understand and appreciate the visual and performing arts as expressions of the human condition.
UMHB Music Department
For those of you considering a major in music, we think you will find a unique level of faculty expertise, personal attention, and performing opportunities as a student in our department. Whether you hope to teach, perform, compose, conduct, research, lead worship, or all of the above, there is a program for you at UMHB.
UMHB Arts Academy
The UMHB Arts Academy is a non-credit program of the College of Visual and Performing Arts of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Our mission is to provide quality music instruction for the youth and adults of the Central Texas community and a teaching laboratory for Music Majors in the UMHB Department of Music.
